''Isopogon prostratus'', the Prostrate Cone Bush is a rare prostrate shrub found in south eastern Australia. It usually is found as a heath plant, or in dry open ''Eucalyptus'' woodland, and often is exposed to wind, frost, snow, sun and rain. It usually grows in sandy soils. Older plants tend to have a significant rootstock or lignotuber. It grows from the Newnes Plateau, west of Sydney. And on the tablelands south to Fernbank in the state of Victoria.
